Photomask
The photomask prints chips from silicon, the way real ones are made. Every part is made from chips.

Use
- Smelt nether quartz in a blast furnace to get silicon.
- Place the photomask. Right-click silicon on it to put it in.
- Right-click its gear to turn it. Each turn is one turn of work.
- Open it (right-click anywhere but the gear, or sneak and right-click) to take the chips out.
A wafer of silicon takes 8 turns and gives 4 chips. The output holds a stack of chips; it stops when there is no room.
You need no battery: turning the gear by hand charges its small buffer. With power, it turns by itself: a battery in its bay (right-click one on it to put it in), or a running computer that has it on its bus (it is a device, joined by cable). It turns once every 5 ticks while there is silicon to print, and idles at 5 W when there is none.
Breaking a photomask keeps what is in it, but its buffer is lost.
Crafting
An iron ingot, a glass pane and an iron ingot; below, a chip, an amethyst shard and a chip; below that, a copper ingot, redstone and a copper ingot.
Notes
- Silicon is smelted in a blast furnace (200 ticks) from nether quartz.
