clear: clear the terminal screen.

clear

Description

clear moves the cursor home, erases the screen, and erases the terminal’s scrollback, by writing the escape sequences ESC[H ESC[2J ESC[3J to standard output, as ncurses’ clear does. Any arguments are ignored.

Exit status

Always 0.
