true
yes: output a line again and again.
Synopsis
yes [string…]
Description
yes writes its arguments, joined by spaces, as a line, again and again, until a write fails (for instance when the reader of its pipe is gone, which also sends it SIGPIPE). With no arguments the line is y.
Lines are written many at a time, about 4096 bytes in each write, as GNU yes does.
Exit status
1 when a write fails (it never ends on its own).
Examples
yes | head -n 3
yes no | head -n 2
